Mind, Body, Cleanse

Have you ever wanted a refreshing drink, but not felt like having soda? I do sometimes. Don’t get me wrong… I LOVE soda (Lookin’ at you, Coca-Cola 😉  ), but I get like that a lot after a workout. Sometimes you just want something light and refreshing.

So here’s a couple sweet refreshers to wet your whistle next time you want something sweet and (kinda) healthy!

Cucumber Lemon Refresher

  • 1 Lemon (Or RealLemon lemon juice)
  • 1 Cucumber
  • Crushed Ice
  • Water (Seltzer is optional)

What you do:

Rinse the cucumber and proceed to thinly slice it. You’ll only need a few slices but I like to slice the whole thing and save the rest to make more tasty waters 😀 Drop a few 16266092_10208114901254255_5270030996598440575_ncucumber slices in the bottom of your glass. Pour about an ounce of lemon juice (Or squeeze your lemon halves) over the cucumber and add crushed ice over.

My fridge has a crush ice option but if yours doesn’t, feel free to toss some ice cubes in a blender and pulse a couple times so you get nice crushed ice (Don’t overdo it or it’ll turn to water!). 16195067_10208114901934272_2130110809184995727_n

Pour seltzer if you choose, or filtered water over your lemon and cucumbers, blend by gently poking the cucumber down & enjoy!

Strawberry Lemon Refresher
